The best team performance I can recall against us was back in 89 ( I think) we played Southampton and they had shearer , Les Tiss & rod Wallace , we got taken apart , sure it was 1-4 but it should have been 10 , that front three was the best I’ve ever seen at our place and Tiss was a maestro conducting it all | |

Wes Hoolahan. I think we tried to get him but there were contract issues and he went to Blackpool instead. Very creative and would have fitted in well with the Rs team at the time.
Martin Cranie. We had him on loan for a handfull of games and I was disappointed that we didn't sign him permanently. Versatile, good on the ball, dependable and a cut above most players we had on the payroll. [Post edited 22 Mar 2020 9:00]

Dave Seaman was a weird one for me. for some unknown reason i always saw him as a QPR player even though he played for the gooners. Loved that he played for England. Same with PP. and Ferdinand. |  |
