Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year.

I’m surprised I’m not in that picture, that’s exactly where I was every week and there are a load of familiar faces. That lad in the reebok jumper to the left of Leon had a seizure of some sort next to me once and I had to look after him. I think I read that he died a few years ago after falling in the river.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

I used to see that guy on away trips over the years, didn’t realise he had died, very sad. Always seemed to be on his own and a bit vulnerable.

Life is an adventure or nothing at all.

Oh memories, a time where you could watch the game with your mates.

Tony was the guys name, lovely guy, he used to play football with the kids next to the Coopers while we were all having a pint before he passed away, he used to come with his sister and brother in law, I'm sure they were English and moved to the area and Tony fell in love with the Swans.
He fell in the canal in Pontardawe and drowned, sad

I'm in the picture, in front of Badger..(not the guy with the shades!)

Weirdly, I never knew Badger then but sat right behind him for the first few years at the Liberty and got to know him quite well.

My son is stood with his mates in front of the lad in the reebok top. He was a familiar face back then, very sad to read that he has passed away.

Who were we playing in that day anyway?

I don’t know who we were playing but it must have been around Halloween time because the defender appears to be doing the zombie dance from thriller.
