Wrexham (A) - Match Thread 11:21 - Nov 8 with 28000 viewsAtThePeake

Following on from what Ancoats_Blue posted in the 'now that the dust has settled thread', I think it would be a good idea to have a match thread for each game with pre-match, live and post-match updates. Also gives us one place to stick all of our pre-and post match content in case you miss any of it on the homepage plus a few handy links from elsewhere.

You've got the wrong end of the stick DN. SL didn't say his seats were reserved, he said he went on-line early and bought the same seats he sits in for his L1 games with his ST. I sit near him and saw he'd reserved them already. The early bird gets the worm!

Not sure what the difference is there DL. So we agree that he doesn't have a reserved seat?

Talking of Wrexham, which nobody is.......I notice they have a long trip to sunny Glasgow tomorrow.

Appearing at the mighty Ibrox against Rangers U21 in the Scottish Cup. Don't suppose we can afford to send a scout to watch them.

They are playing in the Scottish version of the EFL Trophy, which is even more tinpot than ours.

I can see that they are. But does anyone know where the decision was made to have a welsh team in a Scottish cup. If they win it, do they get to play in Europe under the disguise of a Scottish team. See you Jimmy, boyo.

No.

There are also teams from Ireland in it, plus Solihull Moors, as well as colt teams. Farcical.

So many fixtures. Their National league games is not being played this weekend.
They will be getting congestion, like Liverpool, but don’t seem like to be complaining.

Once again, Liverpool weren't complaining. They were scheduled to be thousands of miles away on a different continent, playing in a different competition. They asked if there was a way round it apart from putting out two different teams. They were told there wasn't, so they're putting out two different teams.

I really don't get some of the blind anti-Liverpool stuff on here.

Be interesting to see what sort of team Wrexham field this weekend.
If they think that by fielding a weakened team at Rangers they can then beat Dale and see off Boston at home then the pound signs will be flashing for them.
Like someone alluded to previously we've been in this situation before.
We scored in the last minute at Maidstone to snatch a draw and then forced the win at home in the replay a few years ago when we didn't really deserve to come away with anything from the first game.

Wales play on Tuesday night (Cardiff) but how many will be at home watching that on TV, rather than coming here to watch Wrexham ?

Be lucky to get 1800 on Tuesday night. Especially after today.
