I can't wait to see how our pretty useless stewards handle this one. Potential for chaos

I do recall your earlier post and I think my suggestion would have been less annoying, given a reasonable approach to season ticket holders, and not an impersonal letter addressed to "Dear Season Ticket Holder..."

Think of hugely popular bands announcing a tour. Night1 sells venue out, night 2 is then announced and so on...

Dunphy did come in for criticism from fans when he planned to introduce category A,B and C pricing for games....oh...

He certainly did!

I suppose the only immediate difference I can highlight for a band is that they know full well they can replicate the performance from one night to the next.

We're struggling to do that!

The analogy of a band was about contingency planning without taking unnecessary risks, it likely being the promoter taking the decision, but I'm sure you get my drift.

Less the unnecessary cost of stewards and police, the loss on income v Wycombe and the erosion of priceless goodwill. God knows if we'll ever be told the truth about the dining package.
Fact is that we bought into Sunderlands expectations without having the commercial acumen to plan for what if...?

Mugs sold well though.
