Brexit and footballers 19:27 - Sep 7 with 1919 viewsDaleView

I read yesterday that the Premier League are lobbying the UK Brexit team to ensure that any restriction of foreign labour coming into the UK is avoided insofar as it affects foreign footballers over the age of 18 working in the UK.
Conversely, the England manager, Gareth Southgate said today on TV that not enough English players feature in the Premier League.
This appears to be just another ploy by the Premier Leagus to enrich themselves even more.
It seems quite obvious to me and many others, that the foreign players are blocking the progress of potential British star players' progress and experience and this will not change for as long as the rules allow these imports if foreign labour.
I will vote for Southgate's opinions.
I say "Block these imports and keep the lid on importing foreign labour, especially footballers."
Let's see what a difference that makes to the National football team(s).
I hope the Brexit team just ignore the Premier League over this.
