Rafferty-Finnerty-Ntlhe first half with Thompson on the right, Done left; both playing high up the pitch. Interestingly it was Camps sat in front of the defence with Perkins further forward.
Second half it’s McGahey-MJW-Delaney with Gillam right and J.Williams(11) left.

Good possession based football in the first half. Very good link up play from Perkins and Done.
Defence rarely tested but fairly wasteful in front of goal. Andrew missed a sitter while Done and Henderson missed chances.
Goal csme from a Done corner which Andrew brilliantly headed in to the top left hand corner.
Second half was a lot more fast paced. Bit sloppy in possession but a lot more hard work. Moore didn't have a great game, looked uncertain. Harrison got forward quite well and was barking orders while being a little unsure defensively.
Few late challenges, one of which saw Delaney pick up a knock leading to him being substituted and replaced by the impressive James Nield.
Great finish from Inman after link up with Adshead and Rathbone finished after a great ball from Gillam.
Good work out, good results. New home shirt doesn't go well with the different shade of blue shorts.

I left with a couple of minutes to go and to be honest he didnt do much, not really a wb. Shown some good pace and keep the width. Morley and Adshead look superb as did Inman.
My ratings
Lillis 6 -had nothing to do
Raff 6- again quite night
Finnerty 7- won his arial duels
Nthle 5- not a cb let the ball roll under him and let it bounce a completely missed the header
Thompson- 7 won arial duels keep width, still learning the postion when to tuck in when to go wide but got better as the half went
Cannon- 7 worked hard and created opportunities
Camps-6 didnt do much but keep it ticking
Perkins- 7 his experence is already showing in this team
Done- 6 didnt do much but to be fair i couldnt really see dont that side due to the slope in the pitch and were i was sat
Andrew- 6 typical Calvin saw the good the bad the ugly
Hendo 6- good link up play as always tired before the end
Second half *disclaimer left 10minutes before the end*
Moore- 5 had a few dodgy moments gave away a fk that may have been a red in a league game
McGahey 6- first off i didnt quite release how big he is, hes massive- not much to do
Williams 7- calm composed on the ball looks to be at home at in the back 3, the ball player out of the 3
Delaney 6-(second half captain) nout to do went off, assuming its from a twisted ankle from the start of the second half
Adsheads 7- looks a great prospect
Morley 8- played the deeper role and found so much space and was very tidy on the ball
Rathbone 6- didnt do much from what i saw
Inman 9- looked sharp and at it. Point to prove almost, great goal
Williams 6- like i said didnt get much of the ball but did ok
Gilliam 6-dont see what he offers
Wilbrahim 8- can tell he's from a league above, great composture and touch, though he had one that got away from him but chased down and help win the ball back. Looks fit as a fiddle and a grest addition.
Overall, good start. Spoke to Hilly before the game talked about how happy he is with the summer so far and the options he has compared to this time last year. Notably when was the last time we played our first preseason without any trialist or a squad mainly off youth team players. Today, we had Dooley and McNulty out and we still fielded 2 decent teams especiallly second half. Good times a head i think [Post edited 7 Jul 2018 0:00]

Adshead stood out for me tonight, he was superb - excellent quick thinking for the Inman goal.
In the first half Perkins looked a class act and it enabled Camps to have a bit more freedom
Only negatives for me were Moore and Nthle I don’t suppose though either will appear very often this season though. |  |
