Mackie, Perch, JET... 09:31 - Apr 6 with 11070 viewsRs_Holy

... Leaving at the end of the season! Shame about Mackie but its difficult to see where he fits in when everyone is fit?

No surprises really. Mackie is no longer Championship standard, even when fit. Perch is a useful utility player but hasn't featured in weeks, without any obvious damage to the team. He'll probably do a job for a lower Championship or high L1 club. No tears over JET.

I don't think we can afford to lose Ned and Robinson. Robb, because of his age and improvement this year is the more in demand. Moving on would be a big chunk off the wage bill. I'd be sorry to see Onouha go. A model professional and still a decent defender for our level.

If both go, the scouting team are going to be busy.

With the current rate of success for the U23's stepping up perhaps we may see Giles Phillips & Chris Paul successfully follow in their footsteps.

None of our U-23 defenders even made the bench during our defensive crisis so I suspect we will be looking to bring a couple in.

That's the key point here.
I really hope that we can keep at least one of Onuoha & Robinson but that obviously depends on them accepting a reduced deal. If they both leave we might regret letting Perch go. We'd be looking for at least one decent replacement.
It could turn into another big summer on the transfer front. No-one has mentioned the risk of someone putting in an offer we can't refuse for Luongo or Freeman.
