Match thread: Scunthorpe away on 15:27 - Mar 24 by dingdangblue | I just think it's pathetic slagging good players off whenever we lose a game - some of the shit said about Camps is just barmy when you've seen some of the players we've had in the past. |
I havent seen anyone slagging camps off, merely assessing his performances, which when all said and done has been terrible. He’s been the worst player in our team for a few games now. Why do we insist on making excuses for the players? Asking him to play a deeper role, i mean come on, i forgot playing deeper makes you completely incapable of finding a blue shirt.. Match thread: Scunthorpe away on 17:18 - Mar 24 by dingdangblue | Well we've drawn too many - but today is a welcome draw - just a change not to lose after being pegged back - it must be the 1st time this season away? Northampton and Wimbledon both lost so it's another point gained. An unlikely win v Shrewsbury would be a good way to end our 'not winning' run at home. |
No team in L1 has drawn more or won fewer times than us. Be nice to lose both those records before season's end. [Post edited 24 Mar 2018 17:32]

Still in our own hands. Bring on the Shrews. We must be due a good performance at home to go with the recent away form.

Next game against the shrews has got to be the biggest league game of the season, lose or draw this and I fear its all over.

We'll probably lose again at home during the run in, but it still won't be all over if we do since our relegation rivals will do so too The biggest game i can see coming up will be against Oldham on Tues 17 April

Erm, aren't there scenarios in which we could lose both these records and still finish in the bottom 4? Another odd fact is that only five L1 sides have conceded fewer goals than Dale. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Surely not, some experts on here still opine the defence is rubbish

Shifting to the back three has seen us become much better defensively and we've even, until today, looked pretty good at set pieces. Such a shame that someone switched off today for that free header at the corner. Back to Camps: he was summed up today - a great strike for the goals and a world class pass to Inman, yet so many poor choices when the simple option was the one to take. However, he was much, much better than on Tuesday and we always look a better side when he's playing well.

Which was the only time we've lost wearing white socks. However, we wore them in combination with the unlucky black third shirt so it doesn't count. Apart from that, with white socks we haven't lost: three wins and two draws.

They had their captain Ogogo sent off last game who will still be suspended when we play them, and another player (Morris) sent off today. Hopefully those two absences might derail them a bit.
