Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year.

Fabianski
Olsson
Mawson
Fernandez
Naughton
Mesa
Clucas
Sanches (Should be on the bench for now but he's probably guaranteed to start)
Carroll
Ayew
Abraham

Would be very surprised if we don't go 3 at the back for this one.

Fck me 😂
Stanford supports her hometown team Swansea City - after a brief flirtation with Arsenal because of Thierry Henry - and is backing them to beat Tottenham on Saturday, or at least she hopes they do.
Non ? Fck off.

Nothing to fear from this game (apart from a real drubbing) almost a free hit. Looking for a more cohesive performance and another step to where we need to be this season - hopefully with a positive result to enjoy at the end of it,

Looking forward to it

Well yes, they have better players in every single position, so as always when you play the current top 4 or 5 you have to hope to catch them on a bad day, like Burnley did. Plus have luck on your side, which we are due. The top boys have upped their games since Leicester shocked them.

Any single game can be won. This one included. Wiggo beat Man C at Wembley remember and they were pretty much league one dogshit even then.

We'll receive a proper lenghing tomorrow, I saw it in my tea leaves.

I think we'll see a positive reaction after last week - Clement looked angry in his post match conference so hopefully a few need to now prove themselves. I'd settle for a good performance, maybe we can get a draw. Then, kick on and beat Watford etc. convincingly.

Considering how well Spurs are playing and we are not, a loss should be expected.
But it is going to be important to try and keep the goals to a minimum for goal difference reasons, the bottom 9, apart from Palace are covered by just 2 points at the moment and the bottom half by 3.
I know it is very early in the season and there are lots of points to go, but this is to try and reduce the pressure and doom & gloom that is likely to descend on the club if we go back in the bottom three again.

No one should worry at all about the table or what other teams are doing until 10-12 games in. Certainly hoping for other teams to win or lose at the moment is insane. Like Hodgson saying "I can keep Palace up" FFS...after four games. They can still get top ten with a decent manager playing to their strengths, never mind stay up. The teams that will head south rapidly come November are Huddersfield, Brighton and...um....someone else...

Not Newcastle though. They have a lot of dog about them. Hopefully West Ham, but I don't think so. My left field pick for a relegation fight is The Pulis Hill Mob.

It is important not to concede a shedload, but I don't believe we will today.

Oh, and I hope Southampton win

Certain things always stick. Never been a more sustained roar than Ardiles up in the air. Ardilles and Villa .Top notch. Eriksson moreso. I would dearly like to see Mesa play and lay down what he can.

I don't agree with the argument that early games don't matter. When survival depends on 5 to 11 points which tends to b our survival limit then every match is essential.
We need a massive imprivement from Clem and the team however to get anything today. Other than that a tw@ting needs to be avoided as GD will be out of the window and that can be worth a point in times of extreme peril.

Clucas
Sanches
Carroll
Ayew

A tad defensive I think.

Mesa is turning into our new Borja. Must be sh!te in training. Sanches has huge potential but I worry about his wayward passing in this game.
A back 5 is probably the best way to set up though. Hope we can get something out of it or keep the score down to 1 or 2.

Not confident at all with this game, would bite your hand off with a 2-0 loss here.

Cant understand the Mesa situation at present!!! Baffling!!!!

We have been to Arsenal, Liverpool, Man United and Chelsea down the years and won playing the 4-5-1 formation......playing with wingers. We are set out to defend and defend for our lives, in the past our form of defence was to keep hold of the ball.

Flowing football has not been seen yet and for me, i dont even think is on the agenda for this season.
