Jack Cork to Burnley? on 15:25 - Jul 11 by 34dfgdf54
Under achieving morons, because they don't rate Jack Cork?
Like I have said many times, lovely bloke, just not very good.
Have to disagree a workmanlike player beat and tidy nice player. 10 million does seem a bit high but the prices for British players are mad especially with the new TV deal. A good deal all round I think.
Good to see a decent number of our fans understood and appreciated what Cork did. More a Monk than a Rodgers style player and hopefully we are heading back in the footballing direction. Time is probably right to part ways and the money certainly is. Did much better for us than he often got credit for though.

I would rather see the Korean go rather than Cork. I thought he was solid (if unspectacular) for us.
Having said that, £10M is a great deal for him.
As mad as it sounds I agree, Ki has it all, except attitude for me, if Cork had Ki's ability Southampton would never have let him go, I used to be one of Ki's biggest supporters, but its been on the wane for some time and now just has pre season starts he's injured yet again,

Injured!? Is that right?
Jeez, he should be pensioned off if that's the case.

Commitment and workrate we had from Cork 90% of the time, but unfortunately we haven't seen to much of the same from Ki he's done really well in spells, but those spells have been far and few between, he did well after his time at Sunderland in fairness as well and the last few games of the season gone, but just when we thought he'd have a good pre season to set himself up for next he's injured. I wouldn't be disappointed to see him leave myself.

Please, please shut up saying crap like that. You do honestly believe you are some sort of footballing oracle don't you?
Clement worked Cork out, he dropped him, form improved, midfield got on top in games. He's on the touch line every game.
Fair play. Takes some doing to blame our poor run midway into Clement's tenure on Cork rather than the almost totally synchronous absence of Llorente leaving us playing a shortarse as a targetman.
You could almost wonder how the hell we won five out of Clement's first eight league games with Cork in the team.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Clement worked Cork out, he dropped him, form improved, midfield got on top in games. He's on the touch line every game.
Leon getting over his niggles injury woes helped there, then coming back into the side and showing top form, which helped the impressive Carrol concentrate on his game, Corky was limited, but usually give his all to the cause.
I thank him for his efforts here and wish him all the best as well.
