Bugger, back from Sainsbury's and Roxy Music was £3, just paid £4.65 on eBay. Not happy. Came away with Glen Campbell, Elvis Costello and Enio Morricone at £3 each. Billy Joel very best of was also £3 but the better album tracks are missing. | |

Sadly most of the bands sounded sort of subdued - possibly because they weren't playing in front of a live audience - just technicians in an atmospherically cold studio. Even firebrands like Iggy Pop & The Specials sounded slightly lame.
For my money the only ones who really broke through that barrier were Roxy Music, Talking Heads and, surprisingly (to me), Greg Allman/Cher - mind you they were performing a totally classy song, which always helps. |  | | |

It's sad that huge artists like TP are coming to the UK and only playing one date,you can add Carole King in HP last year and Aerosmith at Download this year to the list too. |  |
