Even with the coverage Vardy gets, you could multiply by 10 the column inches he would get if he played for one of the BIG six, Spurs especially( Dele Alli this, Harry Kane that.......) No one is bothered about us, we know that. I dont care whether they say great stuff about us or not. We know who we are and we loves it. They can all do one.
If you can fill the unforgiving minute.
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!
Edit. Got to agree with Dyfnant. Kane and Vardy should be starting ahead of Rooney, but Hodgson will play players who are performing badly, providing they play for a top 6 team. Rooney can do no wrong in his eyes and is undroppable.

In fairness, the Alli, Kane hype is the only bit of english talent that i've believed in for a while. They are ripping the league up in terms of young home grown talent. Full credit to them. Need more managers like Poch in the league, managers who blood home grown talent through to the first team and are not afraid to play them. Seems to get the youngsters to flourish and see he's given Tom Carroll a run in the first team as well.
Hayes' goal is very good, a bit of curl on it too. In fairness the keeper did well to get airborne in time, let alone close to it.
What makes Vardy's goal good for me is that he has to check a bit before hitting it because the ball seems to have bounced a little more than he was expecting. Also he isn't looking at the goal when he strikes it, he's watching the ball. He knows where the goal is instinctively.
