A massive gesture from the club 07:49 - Feb 3 with 10545 viewsPotterDale

For all the times we've complained that the club has no interest in the fans, this is an absolutely brilliant example that Rochdale is still a family club. This restores your faith that our players don't just live in their own bubble and have no interest in the community that surrounds them.

A very humbling story. Well worth donating to.
If anyone knows the family, I noticed when donating I wasn't given an option to add on Gift-Aid. I've never set up a Just Giving campaign so don't know if its something you need to enable. If it is then i'd probably worth them turning it on as it's worth an extra 25% or something like that. If its not then JustGiving need to sort it out.

Agree KB. It's on occasions like this the club and its fans can try and really make a difference to someone less fortunate, and in the process earn the sort of goodwill that lasts forever.

There's a link to contact Nicola on the just giving page KB. I took the liberty of copy-pasting your comments and e-mailing them to her, as like you say, better the extra money goes to a good cause like this.

Collecting for a worthwhile charity, rather than the club, you mong.

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

Did you even read what the collection was for, dickhead? If you did, and still posted that, you're an even bigger c*nt than you've already made yourself out to be (and we're talking a mammoth-sized c*nt already).

I agree, not from a footballing point of view though. Just as an example of how the ignorance of an individual about a 4 year old boys fight against an aggressive life changing and life limiting brain cancer is seen in that persons eyes as banter.

Stereotypical bury - not a milligram of decency. There is a difference in morality between a bucket collection for a very unfortunate four year old and one for a corrupt football club that is beyond your feeble mind.
