Did ordinary people have the internet in 82' ?, aren't the newspapers unionist ?

I remember the Eng v Arg game in 86, valley boys watching the game in a townie pub, the valley boys were all supporting Argentina.

So the only evidence you have is that some people wanted Argentina to beat England in 86. PMSL. Say hello to Tinky, Winky, Dipsy, Laa Laa and Po in Teletubbieland , because that's where you must come from.

Best thing about this thread is that DGTs discovered a new Teletubby.

By the sound of it you was too young to remember the war, if not you should know better, there is an area in Patagonia with lots of descendants of Welsh people, apparently Welsh speakers died on both sides, all the news was controlled by the British Ministry of Defence/Government, everything released had to be approved by the authorities, I don't think there was any foreign journalists with the task force, even the Americans treated the info as propaganda and you want links.

You like this word " apparently" it's your excuse to make stuff up and talk utter shite, with no evidence to back up what you claim.

That is the difference between personally knowing Argentinian military Welsh speakers on the one side and British Army Welsh speakers on the other as opposed to reading that they were there.

You claimed that lots of welsh think the Falklands war had nothing to do with the welsh and yet you offer no evidence to back your claim up......what I think you mean is one or two liberal nutters from Wales don't think Wales has/ should have anything to do with the war. I'm proud the the welsh guards helped free British people from Argentinian tyranny and no doubt if the Argies wanted another go - they'd face welsh soliders determined to stop them.

King's shilling hey, they are not in a Welsh army but an English lead British army, they have been on the streets of Llanelli, Merthyr, Newport, Rhondda etc before now.

There have been recent commemorations of events for the incidents with troops on the streets confronting Welsh locals, there was one for the Llanelli riots recently and the Merthyr rising, plus I think it was this year that there was a tv programme on about the Rebecca riots [not sure if the lovely Leanne was interviewed for some reason, might be wrong but I seem to remember], a member of my own family wont hear Churchills name mentioned in the house because of what happened over the Rhondda.

You don't seem to know much about history dgt [or bloodlines].

As regards drink, I've only had one beer, 'Cwtch' by a Welsh brewery, just won the best beer in Britain [therefore likely to be the best beer in the World], difficult to find, sold out in lots of places apparently , tracked some down in a suburb of Swansea of all places, I bought every bottle they had on the shelves.

I'm not a chum of dgt but this unending abuse is typical of many on here so utterly self righteous.

Tram lie has posted the most filthy drivel and clasie dissing Simon Weston of all people.

Corbin wants to sell British people to Argentina for political capital.

I haven't "dissed" Weston at all. In fact I said in the other thread that I respected his service. Go and check. I'm just not interested in what he thinks about the Falklands or anything else really. So stop making up lies about me. And enjoy your holiday. We are.
