I don't know if anyone else had the experience that I had on Saturday.
2x Cheeseburgers ~ 2 x Portions of Chips ~ 2 x Bottles of Coke all for an amazing £17.00 OMG what a disgrace and the quality of the food was absolutely appalling.
I certainly will not be buying any food in the stadium ever again, despite them offering me 2 free vouchers for a future game [Post edited 19 Aug 2015 14:41]

I wasn't feeling that good Saturday after a curry night before so didn't want owt to eat.
That said, I would never buy stadium food anywhere and frankly find it incredible people want to queue up for absolute crap.
Eat before a game and avoid this practice.
I did notice plenty of people standing in a a line to buy and to pay what you did for what you got is disgusting. | |

As you know, Im pretty excited at games and food is the last thing on my mind .
Time spent queueing in a line is surely wasted .
People can do without food for two hours, drink too. Talk to friends/enemies/tossers/the stadium cat but don't stand in a line for crap cardboard food | |

Completely agree Perch. I think I may have split a Mars bar with the missus once and that would be the only food purchase I've made at the Liberty ever.
It's a shame because I was having a chat with a friend of a friend some years ago who was talking to the stadium people about providing food there. They did some interesting things that would have been far nicer than standard stadium fare, unfortunately it went nowhere in the end.
I don't get the excuse with kids and being a captive audience either. I took my 5-year old nephew to the Newcastle game, his mum and I made sure he had plenty of snacks in his pockets to keep him going. |  |

I take snacks in for my two boys but they always want a bottle of pop. Now it's £5 for the two of them (half of which normally gets spilt because of the no lids policy!). I think the pricing is pretty disgusting and take a flask for myself; which, incidentally, would be far more dangerous than a bottle of pop if thrown, so clearly it's all about making a profit. I would normally refuse to buy anything on principle but why should I spoil my children's enjoyment of the match by not letting them have a drink?  | | | |

I took my lad ,as a kid, to all sorts of dark places and he ate before the game,;as regards drink, as they don't do clean water, we took our own.
Not having fizzy drinks doesn't really ruin the day. Honest.
THE GAME IS WHAT ITS ABOUT.
Time was when "working men" worked Saturday morning, ate their sandwiches (made before) collected me then went to queue to get into the ground.
itwas also a time when people would not want to put utter crap into their bodies.
We shouldn't be like Americans who cannot go two hours without eating and drinking. | |
