They are stats of a team who have no urgency, poor fitness, low confidence and a low-risk approach to football.
Any teams that dominate possession but rarely turn it into chances are a poor side and the responsibility lies with the manager and coaches as all those flaws above can be coached and fixed.
If they're not, you have to ask if the manager and coaches are up to it.
The likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Barca, etc, even Swansea and Southampton, turn their possession into attacks and chances. We still haven't worked out you need to move the ball quickly, with urgency with players busting a gut to make runs and then get back into position quickly. |  | | |
