As one of our greatest turns 80 today it got me thinking.

From teams pre Premier League which would cope best with the style of play, VAR and all the other bull5hit we have to put up with (well not us per se!) these days?

Wimbledon - 1988 lol
QPR -1975-76
Arsenal 1989
Man Utd - late 80's/early 90's
ANy liverpool teaam thru 70's and 80's

Barcelona recommendations

All,

At the end of October i join the 50 club. My wife and two daughters are taking me to Barcelona for three nights. Unfortunately Barca are away that weekend.

Any recommendations of things to do - never been there before but the wife has - so We'll already know about the obvious bits. Good places to eat etc will be greatly received.

You've always come up trumps in the past.

My youngest has just been accepted into the QPR U12 Girls Squad for the coming season.

I am one proud Dad.

Trial was at Harlington on Sunday. The standard we impressively high and she got through it.

Did I mention I was proud....and pleased as punch!

Has anyone visited this before?

I was meant to buy a training top for my daughter at the end of the season (using my bloody QPR cash) but forgot. I've gone online and its all vanished so assume its been taken down for this event.

Is there a big demand for this? If I get there for 10am will I be queuing for half the morning?

And are any discounts actually worth the schlep from St Albans?

QPR, Stoke and Huddersfield all at home with winnable games (our the hardest).

Sheff Wed away at Blackburn on Sunday.

Birmingham have Rotherham away - hopefully The Millars have a new manager bounce!!!

Stoke could drag Plymouth back into it with a win but rather an away win or draw.

Regardless...... We need the three points!

With no significant departures what does that say about our squad. (Dozy doesnt count!)

Bar a rumour that Birmingham took a nibble at Chair (the audacity!!!) did we not have anyone else of a standard to step up a level at all? I say no one is near!

Maybe Willock Ver 2.0 is not in demand after all. Is he taking a risk not signing a new contract? Last season's Field was getting the odd look also.

So now it's done. Its over to this squad to dig us out of the mire!

Is Smyth turning into a super sub who can really impact a game in the last 15 mins as he did Vs Watford or can he do that out wide for 90mins?

If he can I'd play Willock (im sticking with him) and Smyth out wide, Chair at No.10 and split the No.9 role between Dykes and Armstrong.

I see on the news that a "former" Sunderland player Jack Diamond was suspended from the club after being arrested for a rape/sexual assault charge in 2022.

He was cleared by a jury within a couple of hours of their deliberations.

On all reports Jack Diamond was cleared of any wrong doing yet the woman who made the now false accusations remains nameless or cannot be named for legal reasons.

It turns out this woman willing got into his bed, had an ongoing sexual relationship with the player and had become possessive.

His career is fu(ked now. If this is a false accusation why is she not being prosecuted?
