I think it will be the save as the last two games. We’ll take control early in the first half and will have chances. We won’t maintain the intensity though and they’ll get back into it. Backs to the wall towards the end, especially if we’re winning. |

Well this is my question. Only plausible reason I can think of is that the club is changing hands and it’s a tentative way of getting it out there without confirming anything. It’s a total guess though. I have no inside knowledge and could be completely wrong. |

Bit of crossed wires here. I’m not talking about legalities or what the site is allowed to publish. That’s way out of my lane. If I was chairman of a football club, which may or may not be on the verge of being sold, I wouldn’t agree to a chat with any website or media if I knew I was going to be questioned on that and knew I’d have to give an embarrassing answer. He can’t stop anyone publishing anything, but he doesn’t have to go on record admitting he doesn’t know what’s going on either. |

I don’t know why he agreed to that interview unless it was to tacitly leak the club is about to be sold and he was happy to be the fall guy. Actions speak louder than words, but now his actions and his words both make him look like a powerless stooge. |

I think there’s a bit of a blurred line here between affinity with the area and affinity with the football club. I can see where both WR and FB are coming from. Purely in terms of football, I don’t think you need to be local to be as much of a Jack bastard as anyone else. The city is different. I’m sure that’s the same wherever you’re from. |

The situation is what it is now. It wouldn’t surprise me if all three sign new contracts or if all three walk for free. The issue is the incompetence and neglect that’s got us here in the first place. Short term thinking and penny pinching. |

I’m not intending to be personal here, but it is going to come across that way. If you refuse to ever go to Swansea and denigrate both the city and the country at every opportunity, you’re someone who has turned his back on the city. That’s nothing to do with moving away, plenty of people do that and appreciate the place more than those of us who live here. Crowds are low at the moment. A significant part of our home crowd travel in from West Wales, the valleys and beyond. Those people should be encouraged not ostracised. |

It wasn’t a knock at rugby. More me saying there’s nothing wrong with seeing sport as a social event and going to enjoy the day out. |

He’s little more than a joke now. Which competent chairman overseas both his first team centre backs run their contracts down simultaneously and pretends he doesn’t know if the club is up for sale. If he actually doesn’t know if the club is up for sale, he’s a puppet as well as a joke. |

No of course not. It’s a city of 250,000 and an average attendance of about 15,000. Even accounting for it not being the same 15,000 every week, that’s generously 20,000 fans that regularly go to games. My English mates that come down a couple of times a season and go to the away games in the Midlands are bigger Swans fans than 90% of the people who live here. |

Would have a much greater impact on us due to the abysmal state our owners have left our squad in. Most championship clubs could cope without the likes of Cullen or Cabango for a month. It would decimate us. As for Joe Allen, I’d hope he doesn’t put the extra strain on his body. Wales is important to me, but he’s one player who could do without increasing his workload. I can understand the pull of representing your country though. |

I think he’s done an underrated job this season. Eom and particularly Franco have been a huge help to him, but it’s pretty clear he’s playing with one hand tied behind his back in other areas. We may see us slowly start to dominate for longer periods when Vipotnik and Bianchini are playing regularly, I’ve got a feeling Eom hasn’t reached full potential yet either. Fair play to you if he does overachieve and you do hold your hands up. |
