Yers my mum got that letter as well. Cost more to send it than it gives pensioners. At least it is 20p after tax that pensioners can use to stagger to a payphone and ring for an ambulance because they're freezing to death. Thanks Rachel Reeves, a woman who models herself on Thatcher and Harry Enfield's Tory Boy.

I'm not concerned. Very different QPR to the one that capitulated there.

Manure v Leicester
at 22:28 7 Feb 2025

About as offside as it gets but what impressed me for about the last half an hour was the way that Mcguire pulled the ball down, looked up and effortlessly pinged the ball 60 yards, straight onto a Leicester player's foot. I mean he did it about 4 times. That said, to be fair to him, he despatches the header well, even if he is so offside that he's almost behind the Stretford End.

Very grounded and confident man. Can't wait to see him back out in a game. Like a new signing again.

Sam Kerr on trial

She comes across as very immature and surprisingly vulnerable. I thought she was just being arrogant and above it all but she does appear to be amazingly immature and insecure. I'm probably wrong.

It was a proper football game because this ref let it be a proper football game. Well done him.

Out of contract (again)
at 22:59 5 Feb 2025

Apparently we have a pre contract in place with 18 year old midfielder Jaylan Pearman so I guess the strategy of bringing in younger players next season will continue.

Of the senior players, Cook absolutely because he is a leader and has a good few seasons in the tank, Dunne obviously and I like Frey a lot at this level. I like Colback but it may be a season too far, but he is a class player.

I still think we have a deal in place with Saito from what I remember. He is a real breakthrough player.

saito challenge on travis first half....
at 23:23 4 Feb 2025

I've seen them given, as the commentator said, but I think the ref got that one right and also the one that Saito mistimed for an actual penalty. I've also seen the one that Dunne went over for given but again two big blokes grappling to get the ball, even though Jimmy's short is pulled so again I thought the ref got that right too.

It won't happen but wouldn't it be delicious if we somehow went up as Southampton come down and we pinch him off them.

For me a big part of why we are improving so much is how good Nardi is.

Get well soon Ted. I like the direction of this club. Nourry has taken a shed load of stick but you can start to see what the longterm plan is and it's playing matches no later than 7.45pm because half the side has got to be in bed by 10.

And over that 40 point mark early on without our usual protracted stutter. Well done Rangers!

Nourry has written...

He’s an inquisitive little owl and despite his head falling off when he over rotated it and that we found out just after his physical that he’s a double amputee we are looking forward to watching his progression. Mainly from the trolly he is wheeled around on.
