You can usually expect minimum 4 or 5 minutes extra time to take account of all the subs. But here the keeper must have taken 4-5 mins for his stud change. We then had Bartley (I think) sitting on the floor for half a minute and delays all the way back up the pitch. That game should have had at least 10 minutes added on, probably more.
At the end of the day though we had one weak shot on target in 100 odd minutes so it probably didn’t matter. The sad bit was West Brom were average at best (even with 11 men and all that fire (power compared to us) and Nardi had nothing to do most of the match. If that’s the difference between play-off contenders and us then that’s a pretty fine line. |
