All of Rohls coaching team he wants around him are out of contract at the end of the season. Once we are relegated the compensation Saints will have to pay Sheff Weds will be significantly lower. It’s looking like this is pretty much a done deal. Unless Sheff Weds offer him a better deal or he gets them promoted.

Or somebody else gets in first.

We will probably not be the only show in town for him.

Wonder if he will bring any of his current squad with him. Stuart Armstrong, Valery along with Charles? Barry Bannan? lol.

Stuart Armstrong would be most welcome.

Gutted when he left.

Shea Charles will be with us anyway.

Bannan is a bit of a hero there, couldn’t see him leaving.

Can someone explain the DR obsession? He's done ok but no more than that. Is it just because he was here with Ralph?
I'm baffled. I hope we are walking the whole length of the counter before making our selection.

Stuart Armstrong will be 33 in a few weeks, he was not up to the Premier League and he wanted a final pay day at the end of his Saints contract.

Things haven't gone great at Sheffield Wednesday so far, he has started 3 games ( Max time on pitch 70 mins) and come on as a sub in another 2, but he has suffered an injury and has missed the last 2 games and will probably be out for another month.

He could certainly do a job for us in the Championship, and with our recruitment process even if he is recovering from leg amputations would still get signed up

Ready and waiting to mop up those European places......
