Great interview. I really hope that the people booing the team listen to it. |

Yes! The next You Tube video I want to see that the club have posted is the players doing double training sessions over the international break (without incurring any more injuries) and doing something about the team spirit. Can it be that difficult? |
| Forum Thread | Will Keane and other young English players at 13:28 3 Jul 2014
Having just read Clive's comments about Will Keane and Clive's dismissal of the idea that B teams for the big clubs play in the lower leagues I have been wondering if an England B team might be a better idea? Young English players could somehow have it written in their contracts that if they are not playing regular first team football in the Premier League then they must be given the opportunity to play for England B in the Championship. England B would train at where ever it is that England train but would have to play all their matches away from home. They would not be allowed to be promoted or relegated but could win the FA or League Cup. This would give these players competitive games and develop a style of play that could be used for England teams at all levels. It would also perhaps prevent the academies and reserve teams of the big clubs doing untold damage to these 'man-child types'. I haven't really spent much time thinking about all the ins and outs of this (although probably as long as the FA Commission spent on thinking up their ideas) so it may be another terrible idea! |
| Forum Thread | What better way to spend a rainy Bank Holiday Monday? at 21:26 26 May 2014
Spent this afternoon watching the build up to the game and the game itself and re-reading the programme. Saturday was amazing, emotional, exhilarating and breath taking. I came away from the game feeling incredibly happy but with the believe that we had been extremely lucky. Today, I watched with pure enjoyment and now think that we weren't lucky we were just brilliant. It was great to appreciate the fans singing and all the flags but even better to fully appreciate the performance on the pitch. I enjoyed reading the programme again as well, including the article on Richard Keogh, 'one of the most dependable defenders in the Championship'. |
| Forum Reply | 1982 FA Cup final and replay - were you there? Help needed at 17:05 21 May 2014
I was 17 in 1982 and a season ticket holder with my dad. Unfortunately, I can't remember much about the games only the excitement when we scored in the semi final and the pride after the replay. I was thinking about that on Saturday when one of the Hull players said it didn't really matter playing well as they lost. I thought it may not matter to the players but it does matter to the fans. I do have a folder of all the programmes from the cup run and many, many newspaper cuttings. One headline from the final says 'Monument to Mediocrity' but for the replay my favourite is 'Out of luck Rangers take all the glory but no gold'. |
| Forum Thread | Who should take corners? at 17:11 13 Jan 2014
The best corners from us this season that I have seen have been taken by BAE but I can't say that I have seen them all. I have certainly seen some very poor ones though by other members of the team. |

I would like to keep the sticker but if anyone else would like the other items for themselves or their child I would happily hand them over. I'm going to the Birmingham game so can bring them along. |

As a youngster I disliked Steve Perryman who the press seemed to think was goodie two shoes. Now I dislike Grant Holt and Ashley Young. |

Bees fans were singing 'Mark Hughes is a Brentford fan' earlier on in the season and there is certainly a huge amount of vitriol amongst them against us- I should know my husband and son are season ticket holders at Griffin Park! I really shouldn't wish for them to be unhappy (but I just can't help it). |

MA is currently top of the table with Gillingham. Not doing so bad! |

I heard that he could not be sacked until TF was back in the country and able to join the meetings. That is why it has taken a few days. |

The best manager to avoid the drop would be Martin Allen............. |
