CUP games Were magic once, any team could beat the other on the day, a replay or 3 chucked in too, never mattered , hereford beating newcastle sticks, sutton knocking out cup holders coventry....the league cup gave smaller teams their best chance of silver. qpr, oxford, swansea, swindon . now it's resting players as the league is more important , cups are a nuisance, only because managers made it so. tonight qpr players have a chance to make history for us, fans, a QUARTER FINAL something many younger r's haven;t heard of, only seen it for other teams. a cup RUN. marvellous. |

there was enough on the pitch v sheff weds to have got the draw, we over passed lost the ball and failed to stop them breaking....a weak pen and a red killed us....many teams dig deep after an injustice, we rarely do. 2-0 i switched the stream off and to bed, with the hump. i expected little in all honesty but hoped the draw would be achievable given the hugely paid team we had out.
1) i can't associate with one player any more, none are "qpr" and none are from the ranks
2) the unanswered questions of massive debts worries me to hell
3) we all feared , "what if austin got injured" , we all posted it....we had no back up in august and have none now, zamora and johnson were never going to do it....doyle is ok
4) reliance on loanees, shrugs shoulders and returns to home club as if nothing happened...cheers
5) mr beard can give a free shirt to those on the offy, he never paid for em, they are soon out of date anyway...a cheap stunt that upset others who went.....i read of a tyne tees fan, does he have to come to london to go to sheffield, and somehow get home for a freeby? |

a good game, burnley may rue missed chances but qpr held their own, scored 3 and 2 from the new lads, doyle looked sharp and impressive and maiga looks like he'll add something. hoilet cam eon and did well, looked quick and got in a good ball for the 3rd and vital leveller, it kept us 2nd and 3pts clear....who left feeling the better?? |

we all know this is a tough league and a long season, this was a dull game...brighton just endlessly fouled, offered very little and qpr in all honesty lacked creativity and goal power.

how guzan kept them alive i'll never know...we were punished for any mistakes and they rode their luck, i still don't know why they booed the ref, he gave them too much, sylla should have seen red for endless fouls. it all seemed so good..in hoops, great loud support, taking the lead..scoring 2 away and losing?? the train home had me deflated and shocked. |
