What's the best way to stream football?

So now that wiziwig is down I thought I'd ask.

What is the best way to stream live football? I've used wiziwig over the past few years in conjunction with sopcast and acestream with varying degrees of success but I've seen a lot of people mention this XBMC thing or whatever it is and I've never really investigated it. What's the lowdown?
