If that is his father (I can't find anything definitive), here's a new article on it:

Last season, after 33 games, we were still in the bottom three and Birmingham were sitting pretty in 15th with six points more. Sheff Wed were three points behind us.

I can't see a repeat of last year. Surely two or more of the current bottom three will go down?

Stadium tour and meet the players.

Looks like QPR are running one in March for the Tiger Feet charity where Charlie Austin will be the tour guide - what a great idea!

1-1 with 86 gone currently. Not a terrible result for us if this hold out.

How many points needed for 5th/6th?
at 23:00 14 Feb 2025

A week ago Benjamin Bloom did a video on who is making the Championshil play-offs, and using the form of the last ten matches, we had a higher points number than all of the others in competition with us, with a total of 69.

Second were Norwich, Bristol City and Sheff Wed tied with 67.6. Now, I don't really believe this as we I can only imagine that a couple of teams with mixed recent form (West Brom, Boro) might start picking up a head of steam, but its going to be interesting, and also far lower than recent seasons.

In the US Congress, the representative for New Hampshire between 1993-1995 was a man called Dick Swett.

Not very cerebral, but quite funny.

It was the most one sided 2-0 I have ever seen. It really could have been the same scoreline as Leeds' recent stuffing of Cardiff. According to the Beeb Leeds had 20 shots, 8 on target, but quite a few of them were one-on-ones.

Hopefully their defense is just as leaky in a week's time.

Min-Hyeok Yang
at 00:03 6 Feb 2025

Now that Min-Hyeok Yang has been loaned to us, there is a phenomenal amount of South Korean QPR content on YouTube, including quite a few match vlogs, for example:

There are many more to be found. Admittedly the vlogs do tend to concentrate on Yang, but in one of the videos he goes to the store and buys a QPR top, and shows quite a few South Koreans trying to get Yang's attention as he sat in the dugout before the match.

I find the concept of following a player, regardless of the team, quite the phenomenon but the Korean comments are very complimentary to the Rs.

Live footie vs streams/TV
at 20:42 3 Feb 2025

I believe you mean this one:

I live in Canada and can't get to matches very often. I go to Loftus Road when I can, for example this year I went to the open training session as my itinerary didn't match the home games.

I miss the fact on streams that you can't really see all of the players and get an idea of team shape, or how some one is doing throughout the game, but I enjoy the stream a lot. Except the 12:30pm kick-offs (4:30am for me).

Interesting. It was featured in a book called "Necropolis: London and its Dead" by Catherine Arnold. I'll have to check it's sources!

The London Underground tunnel curves between Knightsbridge and South Kensington stations because it was impossible to drill through the mass of skeletal remains buried in Hyde Park.

Rumours are that Tom Cleverley is to be replaced by a Spanish manager called José Rojo Martín, most commonly known as Pacheta * shrug *

On the plus side, if this goes horribly wrong then that could be one less play-off rival ;-)

If I were to piss on parades, etc., then QPR got 32 points from the last 18 games last season which, if we were to repeat, would give us 70 points, which is where Hull ended up in 7th.

Ok, I'll bite. Last season after 28 games Watford were sixth with 43 points, and ultimately 73 points was enough for Norwich to get the sixth spot, who were on 41 points at this stage in the season.

I will say, though, Blackburn are on a really poor patch at the moment and need to turn it around if they wish to stay in with a change of the playoffs.

Finding a way...
at 05:30 22 Jan 2025

It should be noted, considering our lack of depth up front when we started the season and throughout the first third of the season, that over the last ten matches we have scored the third most goals in the league and have the second highest goal difference which, to me, is just incredible.
