I thought he was poised. Enough to point out the injustice being doled out , while simply improving his tattered lot while dealing with injuries and suspensions. I was deflated by the showings against Derby and Leeds. But overall I loved the team effort. Dunne and Field failed as CBs. But it is obvious what a wonder Liam has been , while Varane, Saito and Morgan keep improving. Well done Marti! I hope you sweep manager of the month. |

You dont know what Cookie was saying.. might have to ask him On another note...given the conveyor belt of red cards we were getting (Varane Colback) and impact on our won/loss record I am not unhappy to see us not retaliate and abdicate points...which Norwich might have been instigating. |

I would like to petition for him to play further forward in Madsen's role (more often) leaving Kieran and Field behind him. I think his overall game and ability to press might help. Plus his tracking back might add to stronger defense. |

Context. I didnt see Gunn do any different from Bachman last week. the difference being Kolli put in the right spot. If Kolli misses, the dialog is very different. |

Nerve racking defines every game i watch. But i do love the football we play. I think ALL the players are getting better and Morrison has been amazing. If Colback and Field are available, I would not been afraid to try Varane further forward. As for Kolli. ..speechless. I was hailing for Lloyd to replace Celar weeks ago when we were playing great but not scoring. In context, Ashby, Morrison, Celar, Madsen all missing routine chances while Kolli's goals were very much down to great work. Even the 2 he missed and the give to Morgan who almost made it 4. |

Amazing! No Chair, JCS, Colback, Frey, Dembele. Yet Marti has knit together a group which has conceded ONE goal in 4 against some tough opposition. A far cry from the grossly apathetic showing against Derby. What an addition Morrison has been. And to top it all this show from The highly anticipated Kolli living up to all the hype. And .. best wishes Jimmy |

I thought Clive called it in his pre-match comments; We have not been far off, just needed a striker to score. I would not be surprised if that display and team chemistry started a turn for the better. [Post edited 27 Nov 22:06]

Marti. Really want him to push through and get the ship/(tugboat) righted. As per the message board today...by some miracle he IS getting POS returns from at least HALF of the NINE newcomers....who have never played in an English league and probably are having all kinds of growing pains. As it is, three (or 4 if you count KD) of those (Ashby, Morrison, Morgan) ..who at least came through the ranks are some of those bright sparks. I put their continued rapid growth down to Marti. |

Interesting twist in the conversation. Is CN telling Marti who to pick in his team? Earlier MF said Kolli was 'unavailable' for ?? I am not beyond believing Chair and JCS are being 'conserved' for the Jan marketplace. |

Well done. hopefully the decision makers are listening and are as frustrated as we ALL are. In amongst those observations (in my eyes) is the how much Marti has done to take the scraps he had to make a rigid defense which currently is exposed by a poor midfield and even poorer attack. In the first 2 weeks at least there was Lyndon, whose absence actually created a chasm ... even commentators in Leeds game had to remark that 18 yr old Kieran Morgan and Varane were up against it dealing with a opponent full of Premier league players. All of our matches have established that we have zero output in attack. Yes, injuries maybe taking the line share of blame but on paper this IS the worst line-up in the division. Is it by chance or a silver lining maybe, that most of this cast are on expiring contracts or on loan. [Post edited 18 Nov 17:19]

I second that. Given current vibes I think he is exactly the sort we need. A real experienced football mind with knowledge of the league. |

It seems like an age ago but Flavio and Bernie were the poster children for lack of patience. Considering the pedigree of our owners, it stands to reason they will ultimately begin to show a short leash. If the rumor mill had linked us to Lampard, Robins or a return of Beale then Ok. But another AI recruitment ? Sorry but Les currently looks golden. Les brought in the likes of Smithies, Luongo, Freeman, Eze, BOS, Manning, Geoff Cameron, Yoann. He might have even still been here if he kept Eustace. |

What i read is that the brass should have done more to keep the core (him included), but instead went cheap (or NOT at all). Notable is his support for the gaffer. |
