Disgusting. Also highlights just how shite our recruitment has been.

Spot on. I like to talk about these issues and get differing opinions, but it's very hard to in today's world without instantly getting a label stuck on you or having to debate with someone who thinks they're morally superior.

The only thing you've enlightened me on is what a sanctimonious bellend you are.

I can't see how encouraging more babies or immigration can possibly be a good thing on an island that's already over-populated and has a completely inadequate infrastructure.

So we need to increase the population to prosper more? I've heard it all now.

Dibbling played majority of the game and did well. Was always looking to drive forward with the ball and go past people. One of the few positives.

What the hell

Not wanting to be left out of this thread I’ve just looked into my own season ticket and to my horror, I am also registered as Mx, yet my 17 year old is a Mr.

This is fvcking outrageous and I’ll be demanding a public apology from the club for misgendering my pronouns

Centre Back is the last position we need strengthening in.

Predicted final Prem league table for 2024/25 season
at 06:16 24 Jul 2024

People are definitely being overly optimistic, which I don’t blame them for. There’s a feel good factor at SFC now along with the possibility the momentum from last season continues.

How we start is crucial for me as our first 6 games are all winnable, so if we get a healthy points return on those, I can see a togetherness and resilience building to carry us through. However, the Premier League is very unforgiving, so it’s probably more realistic to expect us to revert to type with some horror show performances and a total capitulation.

You’re not factoring in the Northam Wall; the impact of which will be worth 12-15 additional points a season.

Southgate got lucky (very lucky)
at 11:43 1 Jul 2024

Exactly. Some managers are just so stubborn; blindly sticking to their methods and preferred personnel even when everything points to changing things up.

Much like Rusty got lucky with Bazunu getting injured towards the end of last season which forced him to play McCarthy and therefore drastically reduced the amount of fvcking around with it at the back. If Bazunu wouldn't have got injured, we wouldn't have got promoted imo.

I used to despise him and viewed him as a selfish man-child, but I actually massively respect the bloke now. He's completely dedicated to breaking every individual record going and to be labelled the greatest player of all time. His stats are ridiculous and he's still driven for more, even at the age of 39 and with all his wealth.

There's no denying he is a proper bellend though.

Yes and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very compact city so easy to walk around....lots of bars and plenty of really nice and reasonably priced restaurants. I went in December so everything was decked out for Christmas. Obviously you need to do Auschwitz which is just the most surreal and thought provoking place. I also took in a Cracovia game which was a good experience.

Northumberland is a beautiful county with stunning scenery and some fantastic beaches; nowhere near as busy as the beaches in the south. Use the game as excuse to take the family for a long weekend up there.
