1. We have too many hangers on pumping up weekly wage bill; and most of them are forwards from our championship era. Like Neil Warnock, I will always be grateful for their fighting spirit that got us into the premiership - but time to go!
2. I'm sick of "moneybags" prefix when we have spent little in actual transfers - lets get a marquee signing in - Andy Carroll.
3. He bullied that w::k:: Terry in the cup final and would be far better than anyone we now have.

Ferdinand - said to be around £4million

Cisse £4million
Hoillett - going to be around £3million
i've left plenty out
that's without all the wages and big signing on fees we'll have paid for Green, Barton and Andy Johnson which will be a few million quid for each player
It may not be as much as a Chelsea or Man City but compared to everyone else we must be about the 6th highest spenders in the division

To be fair the point about low transfer fees is fair. It has been shrewd buisness to get most signings on frees or relatively low transfer fees, and spends more on wages, this way it is spread over the course of the next few years, where hopefully Loftus Road will start selling out more often than last season, we will peform better, more shirt sales, TV money. They believe the money they are committing to pay in the future is going to be increasingly subsidised over time. |  | | |

I thought Andy Carroll had a good Euro tournament. He looked sharp, scroed a good goal and caused some havoc. he was equally good towrads the end of the seaosn - the form got him to Ukraine. A lot of people unfairly see him as a donkey - he's better than that.
Would I buy him therefore? yes.
But then comes the second part - the price. His transfer to Liverpool was stupid money. Liverpool are stilla cting stupid by wanting most of that back.

I still wouldn't buy Carroll for £10m!
Not saying he's completely rubbish (he has some good qualities and has shown in short spells he is an effective prem target man) - but for £10m you could bring in a signifcantly better forward (and player) from another part of the world.
E.g. £7m for Javier Hernandez, £10m for Papisse Cisse, £4m for Djibril Cisse, £6m for Sessegnon etc etc | | | |

It's an ok signing for west ham. Certainly NOT an inspired one.
Very good in the air and this will certainly play to big Sam strength. Big sam should get the best out of the bloke because I don't think Liverpool's style suits him.
He isn't what I would say a massive improvement on Carlton Cole because I think Cole is more mobile and better when the ball is on the deck but under Sam I doubt that will be the case as he will want to make them physical and difficult to play against, (spoilers) | | | |
