Rather unfortunate for the manager as Oxford have got 16 of their 18 points at home which is a better home record than we have. It seems strange to sack him after losing at home to Sheffield Wednesday. If the Oxford board bothered to look they would have noted the Owls have now won five of their last six away league games, the only blemish being a 1-0 derby defeat to the Blades.
