Kolli Dad Interview on 16:02 - Oct 31 by sparkey

Posted a photo on Instagram in first team training.

Does anyone else look at that picture and think about physics lessons and Van de Graaff generators?

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

I may have missed the genealogical memo, but, looking at his father's alleged Twitter interview, is Rach 'The Bash' Kolli's grandfather then?

Here's a fascinating Sky interview with the man himself from 2009:

https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11706/11655340/rachid-harkouk-on-crystal

His career with us after tearing up trees at Palace was a bit of a damp squib - let than two dozen apps and three goals in two years. Though I do remember a clever goal through the keeper's legs in a game up at Middlesbrough in our relegation season, notable also for Barrie Davies' appreciation of Stan taking the wind direction with his finger at a corner we also scored from.

Terry V. amusingly remarked, when he had RH at Palace along with fellow huckster Barry Silkman, 'the only Jew and Arab in the world to get along - and I have them in my my team!' Though that's a bit of a case of the pot calling the kettle black, I think we might agree.

Would be a fascinating ex-player interview, - could it be the start of an exciting new series, Clive, if LfW could get him? (I'd be happy to offer my services as transcriber/proofreader.)

Poll: What should the club do now (assuming no imminent change of owners)?

I'm reading the back of his head, I realise, but everything about Chair's demeanour seems to scream 'hacked off'!

I may do just that - and 10/10 for the opportune sales pitch!

Did anyone turn you down out of interest?

Anyway, that was my proposal for adding to it!

Marti said he was meant to be in it, but wasn't. And he didn't know why.

Who's why? I haven't heard him mentioned before. This is all getting very confusing.

So you expected Koli to be on the team sheet then......I would suggest you are with the very few, obviously!!

I would say it could be yourself gazza that is in the minority of alienating a young QPR player for something that's happened or rather hasn't based on pure speculation.

Hopefully when he does get on the pitch for us again, he can steadily improve in the way we always hope youth players can.

We are low on quality and quantity in his role particularly currently due to form and fitness of his team mates, so its encouraging to see him being given an opportunity.

You are writing him off after so few appearances and he is a teenager still and been at the club from a young age.

So yes, think you may find your opinion to be in the minority.

Just saying sire !!!

Well, we're running out of players at this point. I think I'm on the bench Tuesday.

Wonder if our head of performance might drop in from Dubai and stick his head round the door.

He has to go to NY first, Clive. Besides, he doesn’t need to be present. He can read the data from his apartment in Dubai, and apparently Steve Cook loves a Zoom call.

had a feeling the wheels would come off after hearing he had left , but this is getting silly now .
either the ones hes left in charge arent up to it or we are ignoring what they are telling the coaching staff.

Don't laugh but I'm holding out a little bit of naïve hope that they may have JCS and Dembele in mind to be ready on Tuesday.

Can't wait for Kolli to come back into the first team and everyone then realise he's actually not that brilliant.

Not really his fault but he's just become the poster boy for the stick to beat Nourry/the club with for everything that's currently wrong.

Love a mixed metaphor, me.
