Yep, my reflection too. Excitement that the mighty Crystal Palace are coming across town with a certain star player - mixed with remorse that playing Palace appears to be such a big draw for us these days. For years (decades?) we looked down on them - I almost felt they were a feeder club to us at the start of the Venables era.

They almost went under. Ironically we helped them out by paying a fee for Warnock.

Every game is down on the BBC as Tuesday 17th which won't be the case. So that can be ignored.

Could be a week or so's time yeah. It shouldn't matter about the draw as UCL and UEL 'matchdays' will be when teams play their 8 games whether it's a Tuesday or Wednesday shouldn't make any difference as the EFL won't schedule a game that same midweek. | | | |
