Greek league is worse than the Turkish league. No chance we are spunking 30mill on a greek forward.

Poll: Has the Ross Stewart deal already paid off as Nick says?

Perhaps not but we might get him a bit cheaper, but don't worry when we miss out on him, he will suddenly get legendary status and people will be pointing out how Saints dithered on signing such a great talent and how that shows how badly the club is run these days.

The Greek League is actually quite hard to score in.

Ioannidis was the 4th top scorer with 15 goals in 28 games including the play offs, only 12 players got into double figures which suggest that it is a very defensive league so hard to score in.

A massive gamble by the club if he is signed.

We thought that we had the answers, It was the questions we had wrong.

He might be amazing, ive never heard of him. But hes more like to be the next Taul Paul, Mara carrilo insert name here ...

I would like to see us go for some one like a Danny Wellbeck of 3 or 4 years ago. Brighton at the time picked him up on a free. Someone that knows the league.

Rather have a punt on Wright or Simms at Coventry or Sargent at Norwich.
All have experience of English football.

If they're going to pay 27 million for a striker, they need to able to get the ball to his feet quickly, not with the slow build up from the back, losing the ball in before the halfway line.
Noticeable lack of goals in pre season already.

So Riley is too expensive but we are considering a record bid for this player, makes no sense.

Bit cynical about this.

I can’t see us spending more than £20 million on any player.

In that case I’d suggest we go for Tammy Abraham, he won’t be on a free but far less of a risk than the Greek CF. I also have a feeling Sammy Szmodics could do a job and again I’d say less of a risk than the Greek CF. Think TA would be a good shout though.

Looks like we have not even bid for this CF, it appears to be just the dodgy Greeks trying to bump up the price for a player wanted, and only wanted, by a club in Portugal - that’s even if this report can be believed…. Greek & Turkish club owners / officials, don’t you just love ‘em 🙂

I read Chelsea have just given Broja's shirt number (19) to Neto. Is this a sign of his exit ?

It's not like he has given up the number 9 or 10 shirt number ?

Sporting in Portugal have been after this guy all summer just in case Gyockeres release clause is triggered.

They are experts at placing their players on loan, as many on loan as there will be in the squad.

That makes perfect sense, so I guess the Greeks are trying to talk the price up by fake newsing PL interest. Tut tut …

Alternatively we could start mining cryptocurrency - get a room full of Antminer S19 XP Hyd specialist high-end cryptomining PC’s with a hash rate of 255 TH’s per second, stick about 5,000 solar panels on the roof of the stadium to generate enough electricity to run them and then just let them run 24/7 mining crypto. All you’d need is a geeky late teen to keep an eye on things and by the next summer window we’d be quids in!
I haven’t totally lost the plot, it’s not actually as daft as it sounds - as an aside, Man City are looking at putting 11,000 solar panels on the roof of their training facility (not to mine crypto) that will generate approx 4.4 MWh of electricity a year.
