I find the EDB situation a mystery. Am by nature highly sceptical of conspiracy theories but I can't help wondering if something has happened behind the scenes. To be given a new contract in the summer and seemingly set to have a breakthrough season but then so far down the pecking order that even if 5 or 6 other midfielders were shot, Marti would still be reluctant to play him.

I'm usually against speculating on stuff like this cos none of us actually know what behind the scenes at a football club is like, but the fact that he gets no game time whilst Marti fast tracked a child into the first team makes me think there's more to this

I'm not sure there's any great mystery. Cifuentes has done his due diligence in assessing all the players since his arrival - he even gave Taylor Richards a chance - and EDB has not shown why he should be a regular.

100% in agreement .
In Mc first game EDB was his main playmaker in midfield and he did pretty well.
But doesn’t seem to be stepping up . Chances have been limited in fairness to EDB but when he does get a chance he looks miles off this season .
A loan might do him good for his future personally . Santos too
