Wow... am in Germany at the moment and was watching the Christmas special in the whatever........... series and rediscovered how good it was. My pet she did look good in that Peter Pan costume and as a young teenage lad many a lust after our Thelma.....RIP Brigit |  | | |

Rodney Bewes and James Bolam had magnificent chemistry on screen but Whatever Happened To... wouldn't have been what it was without Brigit Forsyth's brilliant performance as Thelma. I shall have to dig out the brilliant Christmas special this year as a tribute.

1964 was The Likely Lads where they worked together at a factory. It finished with Bob joining the army & being discharged for flat feet. Meantime Terry joined the army as he missed his mucker!
Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads was in the '70's & in the first episode they are in the same railway carriage as Terry is returning home having left the army.
IMO, both were brilliant series that were true to the age they were set in. | | | |
