Laird, Stef, Dozzell all out, Drewe returns at RB, JCS and Tim back from injury, no sign of Sinclair. I'd have been happy with this if we had Richards or Willock in over Martin but I'm not very hopeful |

The QPR v Naaaridge match thread on 18:53 - Apr 19 by KerryE | My drink in Defectors was going well til I see 2 up top again. Back to the 1970s. Feel free to remind me of this post if we somehow win. |
Back to the 1970s again, but not in a good way, I think we can all agree! That 1970s team (well, until 1978) was basically Dutch 'total football' - an international goalie, full backs who could attack and defend, wily and robust centre-backs in Webb and McClintock, ball-playing midfielders like Masson and Gerry, an out-and-out whizzy winger in Thomas, a top goal-scoring striker in Givens, and a maverick but hard-working/team-playing no. 10. SIgh! Now we have a surly keeper, two centre-backs who don't know what day it is (and another made of glass), a rookie right-back, a lazy Tim, a creaking Chair, a wraith of a talent formerly known as Chris Willock who now plays like a pillock, a flaky Norwegian on a wedge North of a brain surgeon, an 'international' striker who should be playing for Cowdenbeath and a 'club spokesman' in the knackers' yard. Apologies to anyone I've missed! [Post edited 19 Apr 2023 19:31]

I'm predicting 1976 all over again. SIlly mistakes cost us, and we lose 2-3. | |
