One poster in there says it’s an EFL decision as to whether it starts at 9-1 and only the remaining time played or 9-0 and start from scratch. Surely that can’t be right because you can’t set precedents in these cases. Unlucky for Cardiff (as if I care) but no one knows how the game would have panned out.

This reminds me of a game being called off half time at the Vetch back in the late eighties/early nineties for floodlight failure.
I think we were one nil down at the time. I remember the fanzine of the time had an illustration of Doug Sharpe pulling the plug with a big grin on his face.

Philogene looks like a good Nathan Dyers sort of player and will probably be released in the Summer by Villa. Pacey tricky versatile and can get shots off.

It was Huddersfield. They wore a terrible chequered yellow/black top in the abandoned game.

I was at an FACup tie at Exeter we were winning going into injury time and the ligjts went off. Replayed the game and we battered them scoring 5. Good days them.
