Feeling somewhat mortified by all the recent revelations. What a contrast with the way it was back in the 60s and 70s. Who remembers Farohk Engineer playing for Lancs? And of course the great Clive; he was so proud to play for Lancashire. And there was Lord Constantine of Trinidad and Nelson in the County Paletine of Lancaster, a title chosen to honour his place of birth and the kindness of the people who had received him in Lancashire. Where's it all gone wrong?

It's clearly fine and we all know full well what will happen, it will be swept under the carpet, would you like a wager regarding him facing the same sanctions for his own racist comments, the exact ones he's now banging on about others as being so wrong?
It's amazing how all the folk he's mentioned are all instantly guilty with their names plastered all over the show without even having a chance to give their side first, is that how a "fair" legal process operates?
Obviously he won't face the same sanctions because these are very different incidents. There isn't one blanket punishment for every single use of racist or bigoted speech because the details of each case are judged individually, as is the case with anything like this.
Tangled up in blue.

Thats great then, we can all wait and see the punishment he receives then too, whilst it appears his list of previous misdemeanours grows by the day I'm sure it will be proportionate to the offence....I won't hold my breath.
Be interesting to see where the £200k ends up too.

I don’t think DiddyDave will have the bollocks to answer that, ATP. Not truthfully anyway. His posts tell you all you need to know, unless he’s just massively misunderstood…
Tony Collins article by DiddyDave1 Nov 2021 5:22 This actually came off a BBC World Service program that I heard on my car radio a few months ago. Quite a good write up seeing as most of it came out of the Tony Collins book in 2016, the BBC once again nail their colours to the mast (no pun intended) in the first paragraph. Why mention the National Front coming to the fore in the sixties and Enoch Powel`s Rivers of Blood speech? Straight away they`re inferring colour prejudice then, that Collins was the first black manager. There wouldn`t have been any more than a handful of dark skinned players around, Charlie Williams was the first I ever saw playing for Doncaster and Rotherham, and of course, the great John Charles who played for Leeds before being going to Italy. People flocked to see Billy Boston steam down the wing for Wigan and Shirley Bassey was Top of the Bill at the London Palladium. Sport and music, leave the politics out of it.

Thank you mate, I was trying to find the right word to sum this all up. Bollocks, very apt.
