Accrington (H) match thread on 14:34 - Apr 17 with 2979 views | rich_dale | Easily the best we've played this season, at home certainly - Osho absolutely immense and Grant is now looking a serious player. Ollie out of this world. We looked like a very good team today. It's not too late
Accrington (H) match thread on 14:35 - Apr 17 with 2947 views | funkkk | Superb performance. Rathbone my MOTM he was absolutely everywhere but nobody had a bad game. We’re giving ourselves a fighting chance!
Accrington (H) match thread on 14:35 - Apr 17 with 2940 views | jfmolyneux | Get in! Thought we thoroughly deserved that, we absolutely outplayed them, and thankfully the chances came in the end. Up the Dale!
Accrington (H) match thread on 14:35 - Apr 17 with 2936 views | 442Dale | That was a really good display full of intent and looking to get the ball and players into the opposition box with positive running. It’s so frustrating to see where we are when we play in a way that suits the players we have, need only look at the way O’Connell and Osho went forward too as an illustration of how much more suited we are to looking to progress quickly up the pitch.

Accrington (H) match thread on 14:38 - Apr 17 with 2870 views | dawlishdale | Comfortably our best home performance for a long time, and gives us just a slight chance of avoiding the dreaded. Can't single out a mom...they all put a shift in and did well. Pleased for Shaughnessy... especially after the stick I've given him. However; more pleasing to see Lund play the final couple of minutes. He could be very important to our end of season.

If we do somehow manage to clamber to safety I would be more than happy to eat the largest slice of humble pie that has ever been baked! If we do still go down at least we have belatedly decided to put up a fight rather than just waving a white flag! Fingers crossed we can make it 3 out of 3 on Tuesday night? It seems drilled into us at the minute we have to take it to the final few games. I was disappointed by the Swindon game, we just got away with that one, but today we were immense for 90 minutes. Maybe, JUST maybe, we might make it again.

Moaning that Dale should have had a penalty and Stanley should have had Barclay sent off?

But 7 of those 16 were draws. Including last Tuesday's 0-0 vs Accy Stanley. And with 52 league goals Dale have only one fewer than Blackpool's 53. Not to mention that next Tuesday Dale have home advantage ... Even so, I'd guess most of us would take a point now.

I don’t think we should’ve had a penalty, but I do think we got away with one for the Accrington disallowed goal. Lynch ran into their player and fell over. It was one of those where the referee sees the keeper on the floor and blows, but for me it wasn’t a foul.

But 9 of those 16 were wins and Blackpool have conceded 37 goals less than Dale!

Not sure if it was a corner either - the Dale players seemed puzzled when the ref gave it so maybe he was looking for any sort of contact to rectify the decision. Only joking about the penalties - but if they had been for Accrington Coleman would definitely have been moaning.
