Should just be a one match ban for a professional foul.
Probably more chance of getting a 3-match ban reduced to 1 than getting a red card overturned completely. That would suggest the referee got it totally wrong - even with all the benefit of VAR - and they won't be keen to admit that. | |

Apparently Arsenal are going to appeal David Luiz red for what was a similar offence so they'd have to look at that decision before dealing with a club outside the "top 6"

Wasn't it Fulham who had their red card rescinded on appeal away to Newcastle ? From memory, it was their central defender and it then made him available for our game with them on Boxing Day.
It 100% has to be appealed.
The player himself even said it was not a foul FFS !!
How much more conclusive does it need to be ?
The officials should be relegated to League 1 for the rest of the season, but I can't help thinking at the appeal, the FA will look after their own. |  |
