They had a lot of money pumped in during league 1 and the championship. ...
Which people seemed to forget.
But Eddie did do a very good job for them his door bell will be very busy

After 25 years?

Apart from the two years playing for Portsmouth and the (almost) two years managing Burnley.

Luck ran out. As with all small clubs in the Premier League, sooner or later you go back down.

He should have stayed to be honest. I reckon he’ll be back there before too long.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

I tend to think that any club not regularly in the top 6/7 is fighting relegation. Even Everton have had their bad seasons. The EPL is set up for the favoured few, the rest are fodder. Until the Sheikh took over Manchester City were pretty crap and he's spent over 1 billion on them.
Bournemouth's owner is rich by our standards but a pauper in football terms, about 100 million net worth I think. If you aint a billionaire you have little chance. Mansour is worth around 22 billion, Henry about 3b I think, plus of course much bigger stadia and worldwide fan bases do help.

Will Brentford last long if they go up, an 18k stadium and while he has been quite clever, how much money does Benham have?

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Bournemouth should have been relegated in their first season in the Premier League 2015/16 after accruing huge losses the previous season, in winning the Championship.

They were given a fine instead of a points deduction - they finished only 5 points above the relegation zone. The fine was fvck all to their multi million owners.

They exceeded Financial Fair Play limits of permitted maximum losses of £6m for the season by £32.3M!!

bournemout are the type of club to suffer a major Stoke stye hangover. Many of their players were on big money with a lot of dead wood. Solanke Cooke Ibe if he has not already gone. Surridge will become a good player.

Wise sage since Toshack era
