If the point blank range chance he missed had fallen to Borja then it would have been a goal .

Surridge is ok, just not quite there yet, he came here to improve and learn, we need somebody who can offer a bit more .

Our midfield is the worst in 20 yrs, which is killing us game after game, this if course doesn't help one bit .

Assuming Borja actually got into the position to score.
Borja is definitely a better finisher but his movement is poor & he's just slow.
Don't rate either of them but any striker would struggle with our slow plodding play tbh

I thought the ball was lumped up to him for most of the game, it made it easy for their number 5, who was a very good player.

He needs to man up.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

People still pay attention to Nixon?

Odd that we played him for the full 90 minutes on Sunday.

Even odder that we didn't, or did you leave before one of the most stupidest substitutions in recent years.

Is correct.
Got recalled yesterday, and left Fairwood

Their number five was excellent. Bambi Diaby, only 22. Good bit of scouting by Barnsley there.

Despite some knockers on here, i"ll be sorry to see him go, and wish him well.

wouldn't surprise me he asked to be recalled

Poor Nixon, he’ll get one right some day.

Gets plenty right to be fair.

I wonder where the sale rumours came from within the club maybe.

It was reported he would probably be recalled as early as the beginning of October.
Given that was likely should we have have just kept faith with Borja?
Surridge looked decent playing wider but not up to much as a CF.

He won’t get in a premier league Bournemouth side as long as he has a hole in his head.
More likely if he does go back it will be for a quick couple of million transfer before the window shuts. Which of course won’t be back here.

OK I've changed it.

Surridge missed sitters, was on the floor more than his feet and was very greedy, good riddance.

He's no great loss if we get Brewster in but we'll be struggling if Ayew or Baston go and desperate if they both go.

Yes we will struggle if Ayew goes. Can't see a play off push so after the window closes it could be time to give U23 players some game time ready for next season.

Well hopefully we get a better striker in quickly, because unless we’re going back to Ayew up front, we haven’t got one at the moment.

Bournemouth have countless injuries and are 2 points above the relegation zone. It's a desperation move by Bournemouth. They're screwed, whether or not Surridge can score some goals though.

He’s a raw 21 year old playing in the most difficult position on the pitch, I wish him well for the future.

The trouble is the U23s have already been decimated by the 1st team, unrenewed contracts and loans.
What is left is getting to be less in quality and experience.
There can only be a few left who can make the grade at the moment.

He tried hard but that's just about the only positive that can be said of him.

At least CBR could stay on his feet.

Yeah could never fault him for effort but had a trampoline touch and powder puff to the extreme.

Agreed, but I'd say Surridge could stay on his feet if he wanted. He's too happy to go to ground looking for cheap free kicks, which he rarely wins.
