I thought this was an excellent point in fact based on past form this season who would have expected a haul of 7 points from 9 especially playing 2 teams playing for a play off place ? . Last 3 home games 2 points from 9. Taking the total over all if the haul was reversed most would have been happy. Its still not impossible the escape could go to the wire.

Didn't really notice him much, to be honest. The free-kick he gave away for his yellow card was a very inexperienced challenge that could have proved crucial. That he then gave away another shortly after hastened his substitution. I'd expect him to be back on the bench or not involved for the remainder of the season.

agree 100%. I like to come on and read about all things Dale related and like to listen to other fans opinions on the games etc... Some things I agree with some things I don't, but if I don't agree with them I will press the like button, if I disagree them I press the don't like button. Sometimes when I feel I have something to say I will post (not often I Admit) but I never start to slag off another person's view or get personal. In my opinion (Baton down the Hatches) certain posters are ruining this once really good forum and turned it into a personal bitchfest. I don't know the ages of posters on here and probably don't know many, but reading some of the topics, it comes across as though we have some very intelligent members on here who given their possible ages and professional working experience in life should know Better! Reading the board you wouldn't think we all support the same club. Sometimes we agree, sometimes we dont, if you have a different opinion why not try debating them instead of firing ego cannons and ruining the board for everyone.

I'll attempt to answer that Rb I appreciate that many people have a pretty straightforward outlook where football messageboards should be about debating football and possibly other topics in a gentlemanly (or -womanly) manner, but regardless of intellect, experience, class, political persuasion etc. there are also a good number of people - and i count myself among them - who see things differently. That doesn't mean we're wrong, or right, it's just a different type of outlook on life. It can be seen at the very top of the political pile, and at the top of the traditional professions such as medicine and the law. In the latter cases, i've either witnessed it myself or heard of it directly through former partners, so it's nothing to do with what you'd possibly refer to as "maturity", but others might call reticence It's just another aspect of the great variety of humanity, and all the better for it imo. Again, i appreciate some people can't stomach it To conclude, there's nothing to be gained by saying that this different type of outlook to yours is "ruining this once really good forum". I've been active on it for about 11 or 12 years now and it's not changed one iota in all that time

Quite agree I think our next 3 home games Shrewsbury,Wigan and Portsmouth will give us a better chance to accumulate more points than our 3 recent home games as the teams involved will be coming to WIN rather than" not lose" ie as per Fleetwood and Wimbledon ..Wigan and Shrews definitely need all 3 points as its so tight at the top..so be ready for a frantic couple of weeks..i can see all 3 games being high scoring affairs..and with Bury away in the midst of all this..its gonna be bumpy!!

Thanks for your reply Dalien, but it's not about being able to stomach it, it's about reading a messageboard without every thread turning into a slanging match. I can tell people where to go with the best of them, however I won't do it on a messageboard. If I want to call someone a knob head for example I will do it to their face and I will give them the courtesy of knowing who called them and not from behind a keyboard. Slagging people off and name calling is not debate, not good for humanity and is not seeing things differently. Perhaps I am a snowflake and I live in the past but this messageboard has definitely (IMO) gone down hill, with posters seeing a red flag when someone they don't like/agree with posting resulting in a slagging match. That's how I see it, but look back on the threads of late and just about every thread disintegrates into a slanging match between certain posters. I know of lots of people who read the forum but don't post on it and you tend to find its the same people posting all the time. (maybe they all have broad shoulders and enjoy the name calling), I don't and think it is embarrassing. We often wonder if the manager/team/directors read this forum and would it influence them into giving us a say on matters, I hope they don't as it makes us all look like sqaubling immature children. As a final point I would like to thank Col and his administration team for providing this forum for us all to have a say and vent anger somtimes and this is no way an attack on the forum or admin team. That's all I have to say on this thank you.

They didn't , I mentioned no names, and they wouldn't know who I was and it's many years ago. Stop being pathetic, I statedI had to be wary as I was when I bumped into people who had tried to stab me, or threatened to kill me. As a pen pusher you wouldn't have experienced any of that so stfu

Well said , I disagree with you 90% of the time, but it doesn't affect my life, as I'm sure my posts don't affect yours. It's knockabout, and harmless . I'm sure I could share a pint with most on here without tears, indeed I have. Would be boring if there was no friction. God bless
