Bad injury for Fer, aruptured Achilles can sometimes be as bad as a snapped one, snapped mine , was a year before Iwas able to ride a bike let alone run, also leaves a weakness in that leg, fingers crossed its not that bad.

Fer has been hit and miss this season.. King will give us some consistency
Bony has been dreadful and injured and would take a considerable amout of matches to get him where we need to be.
AA is also injured so not a great shoe in at the moment.

A friend of mine at the match said Bony requested to be subbed off, gave the sub signal and hobbled over to the bench. He wasn't allowed to come off and was shaking his head as he limped back on to the pitch.

Explains why he was so poor in the game at least. Personally i think it's a career ender for him, he has struggled to capture any kind of form and the injuries seem to be coming on after the other . As mentioned above, it's not the end of the world in terms of how Carlos sets us up these days, and if anything it's going to be better with Jordan up top and Andre filling in behind where Nathan was playing.
Fer is a shame, he has shown great ability since Carlos came in, he is a total enigma as it's clear to see he has pretty much everything in his locker, feel sorry that we will lose some much needed physical bite in the middle.

I do wonder how the club are placed for injuries like this and what type of insurance they can recoup for each week they are sidelined. It may well pay for a decent out of contract player (if they exist) until the end of the season. |  |

Indeed, Fer had turned the corner as well and was playing really well lately, hope us not bringing one or two others in, in the windows doesn't bite us in the arse, step up Andy King, should be ok in the Striker department unless Andre Ayew is crooked for a while he's struggled this season with injury though with West Ham, hope that doesn't continue otherwise its 18 mill down the shit shoot, to go with a lot of more money in the last yr or so ffs, |

So losing the Backup of Fulton & McBurnie is "not losing anyone".
I beg to differ, we are that much thinner now.
They were proven players of some ability, especially Fulton.
Now with anymore problems we could be reliant on untried U23s, great for them, but not so good for the club. | | | |

Is that really true ? i suspect the medical team would also do the right thing for the player irrelavent of what the manager might want.
