Yes bucketing down most of the early hours,and most of the weekend. Lets face it,you can only blame the groudsman for this,its about time we had heads on sticks at the entrance to the ground.

They've had a couple of seasons and still fooked it up,not sure about being capable in 20 hours
It makes you wonder when we're actually going to play our next home game at Spotland. If the club aren't willing to do anything productive then the FA need to step in and force them to do something.

Like I said the forecast from now and all day tomorrow is no rain - if they can't soak up the existing water then the pitch is well and truly gone - which it looked like last week anyway! Why have the club wasted 8 DAYS and not started to re-lay even part of the worst affected areas? Didn't they say that there was NOTHING WRONG with the drainage?

Yes, they've been taking 'professional advice' i.e. caking it in the wrong sand all year according to the club. Whether this new 'drill and fill' will be any different we'll have to see. Wouldn't hold my breath though.

Official site says that they suggested switching to the EFL and also playing elsewhere but unable to sort out.
Yep,....yet again no hint of apology for the hassle to our fans. Just think it would help.
An apology wouldn't bother me. I'm an adult and so can cope with stuff not being perfect. The club certainly hasn't done this on purpose and there will be plenty of folk there who have been working hard to get the match on. Without a magic wand, there's not a lot that can be done in the current circumstances They've given us notice of a day and a half and that'll do me.

Yes - as we've still to play them away they asked if we could switch the game to an away fixture and play the home game on Feb 24th instead - obviously Wigan don't need to do this so they've said no.
