Was he really a better option than Tammy I just can't see it myself. Sure I'll get pelters though.

Socks us L1 level at best , we all know it. Had a little go today but he is nowhere near even asking a question of a poor Liverpool defence.

Like with many others here its not his fault he's being exposed to a level of football he has no right being part of .

Blame Huw not socks !

Apart from the great opportunity he carved for himself which would've tested their keeper if it wasn't for a great block.

Also some nice link up play.

I think people would cut him a bit more slack if he didn't look like a massive cünt when he walks on the pitch.

The way he walks around all Charlie George just highlights his already glaring physique and ability shortcomings. Welcome to SCFC 2017/18.

In every game I've seen him he's never looked anywhere near a premier league player. The decision to pick him over a new England international this evening highlights just how far out of his depth he is.

Danny Graham, Michu, Bony , McBurnie. Pick the odd one out.

Stevie Wonder can see he's not a premier league player but more to the point what was Leon thinking playing him before Tammy?

Was he under orders from HJ, apart from that very small issue we were fuking shite anyway.

I only saw the last 25mins but from what i saw we were standing off them again a la the Man City game too.

Do we really think we can stand toe to toe with these teams anymore.

The players should be fuking embarrassed due to their lack of pride and effort.

I hate to say it but i can't see where the next point is going to come from?

It doesn't matter where he gets his chance ! Liverpool has one of the most iffy set of defenders and keeper in the premier league ! Their attack is what's different class.

Socks is nowhere near the level required plain and simple but that's not his fault that's a fault of the club .

We are going down with a weak team of no hopes we just need to accept that Jenkins has made this over the last 3-4 yrs

Until people start kicking up about him things sill remain the same as we fall through the leagues...and we will under the current regime

It doesn’t make much difference whether you play him or Tammy. Our strikers are isolated and asked to play a hold up role, which neither of them can really do. We don’t get players around them quickly enough, which exacerbates the problem.

I think Tammy would be pretty good with a proper #10 playing in behind him. Gut feeling though is they are going to wave the white flag rather than have a real good go at it in January.

Perhaps he picked him as a "f*ck you" to Jenkins. This result should now start focussing minds in the boardroom. Jenkins can direct traffic in the car park, we need a DOF and decent manager. NOW.

Indeed they’d only be able to talk about his ability then which isn’t very good.

aww ffs. really. so ollie gets it this week. at least ollie could pass to a fellow teammate. i thought he did well with the little service he got. we had more chances in the first half with him in the team than we did with tammy.

if you analysed the game properly ayew and fer were the problem. cost us 5 goals between them. (4 were ayew)

Well yes ...maybe ....but it shows the squad is not even competitive at this level.

Better to go Fer or Ayew up top, than Oli ...?

Oli ain’t ready however its dressed up.
Oli may never be ready.
And not Oli’s fault btw.

He needs to go play 30 games in League 1.

He was supposed to go to Barnsley to be fair. If he’d held down a first team place there, it would have done him the world of good.

He was never going to do much today, Tammy wouldn’t have either.

I don't see your point.

So Ollie deserves unfair criticism because you traveled up.? I don't get it.

I say again. Ayew cost us 4 goals. Fer 1. Although I may be wrong because I didn't travel up today. *rolls eyes*

I dont get it.

Very strange selection.

I think the objective was more to give Tammy a rest ready for the Watford game, not to expect McBurnie to contribute anything. It largely went to plan- Tammy had a rest for most of the game and McBurnie contributed nothing.

You mean when the ball fluke and bobbled it's way past 2 defenders and fell into his path by sheer luck ? Hardly carving out an opportunity is it ?

Would've tested their keeper if the defenders didn't defend ? Rightio .

Bafe Gomis is light years ahead of anything we can field as a back up to Bony at the moment. That's the next level Junko has led us to.

Oh shut up ffs.

He got his chance? At Anfield? In possibly the worst team we've ever had in the Premier League? And that's his chance?

We've got some f*cking howlers following us aye.

So he looks unfashioanble, thin, scruffy, whatever the f*ck else the hard of thinking can level at him, but to judge him on this appearance? F*cking lol as they say.

He may never make a premier league player, but judging him on tonight?

And if that makes me a happy clapper, then i'll clap away.

Ollie is the least of this teams problems.

Me shut up? Unlike you, you plastic fu*kwit. I’ve been watching him since he arrived which is obviously more than the one game you’ve seen him in. If you’d been paying attention for l9nger than the five minutes you’ve been interested in the Swans you’d have a faint inkling about how ridiculous you are. Get back to stamp collecting you tw*t

Here's a novel thought - Tammy and Oli both look f*cking sh*te playing in this team. It remains to be seen whether they can cut it at this level, frankly I have my doubts, but they've both looked horrendous in our last two games.

We need a striker to hold the ball up, or at least have genuine pace to chase the nothing balls we eventually resort to. These two lanky beanstalks have neither.

Seeing as we judged him against Liverpool last week, can we judge him on today's game as well please?
