It really isn't. He does this every game. He is poor most weeks. Like many of our players, they get away with such mistakes most of the time so few remember.

Oh, well done! They're just a bit sharper to the ball than us. All 50:50s just go their way. Maybe it's because they get paid more. Get your wallet out Huw!

The Official Arsenal FC Vs Swansea City FC Match Thread on 16:48 - Oct 28 with 3561 views | DanWelsh86 | Let's face facts here. We're quite poor at the minute, but defensively on the whole well regimented so we don't get hammered. This gives us a false impression that the games are close when they aren't. We have no invention, we rarely have a decent cross in and all our goals are from the opposition errors. I'm not sure what our game plan is, but this hasn't done PC any favours.

The Official Arsenal FC Vs Swansea City FC Match Thread on 16:54 - Oct 28 with 3315 views | AnotherJohn | Oh dear, looked good for a while, but didn't have the cutting edge necessary to spring a shock. As a one-off it wasn't a bad result, but in the past we have survived because of the occasional surprise win against the big teams. I'm not sure we have that in us this season. The Official Arsenal FC Vs Swansea City FC Match Thread on 16:55 - Oct 28 with 3288 views | exiledinenglandjack | We're playing far too narrow and with no pace. A couple of positives to take that clucas had his best game for us, we had a bit of a go with wingers, pc did bring them on too late imo. Also, for shouldn't be used for this kind of game as he is too lazy

Desperately need a creative player and a right back in January. Beggars belief that we've gone into another season with Naughton and Rangel.
The Official Arsenal FC Vs Swansea City FC Match Thread on 16:58 - Oct 28 with 3209 views | PozuelosSideys | The amount of our attacks that break down with Naughton is anoying, especially as we dont get many. Oh, and another thing, that little chip ball out from the back FF/Mawson play towards the corner flag that always goes out for a GK/throw because the pitches are too fast, can we stop that please? We just give the ball away. Other than that, Clucas set piece is ok. There were small signs of some intricate play going forward, but tbh, we just dont have enough of the ball to become any good at it. Brighton, Burnley, Bournemouth up next. If we lose all 3, wave goodbye to the PL. [Post edited 28 Oct 2017 16:59]

The Official Arsenal FC Vs Swansea City FC Match Thread on 16:58 - Oct 28 with 3194 views | JackSkellington | Well that's Clement on 8 points from 10 games. If he hits Bradley's record of 8 from 11 when we play Brighton, what would be the justification for not sacking him? Edit: And we're currently down to 17th. If Everton get a point from their game with Leicester we're in the relegation zone. Whether we concede 1, 2 or 5, the end result is that we're still losing almost every game. Two subs should have come on with 20mins left to play, but we looked content to lose 2-1.

The Official Arsenal FC Vs Swansea City FC Match Thread on 16:22 - Oct 28 by londonlisa2001 | So is everyone, but if you look at Ayew's position he couldn't possibly get his right foot around the ball enough to square it. He either had a shot or it went for a goal kick. Nothing to do with selfishness. |
I did and see it completely different you. He's a professional footballer and should be able to make that pass. Cone on Lisa watch it again. He didnt look up and only had one thing his mind, which is ok as he did win the ball. But it was poor and ultimately cost us today. That should have been a goal.

Yep. Although large parts of the second half were poor because having been rattled by two quick goals, our back line lost confidence and starting bypassing our midfield, so we lost the ball as quickly as we had it. Carroll is weak in midfield I think. Would like to see that formation but with Mesa in for Carroll and Naughton is not a strong right wing back. Clucas was ok on the left in that position although it'll take time. Naughton gets pelters , but it's not his fault - he shouldn't be our starting right back. We also need a more creative player instead of Ayew. So pretty much the weaknesses everyone identified during the window apart from our esteemed head of transfers, who was presumably too traumatised by having to provide due diligence for a sale he never wanted (thanks to xmas tree for that insight).

Yes, it should have been a goal. But he couldn't wrap his foot around it. It was away from him too quickly and too far in front for him to cut it back. Watch it at normal speed not in slow mo and you'll see his position didn't allow it.

Lol. Xmastree's contribution in the thread about money. To be honest, after reading it, I feel genuinely sorry for HJ and LD who, against their will, HAD to provide due diligence to the ownership because of Katzen, Davies and Morgan. Can you imagine? Poor things.
