Bookies got 22:22 - Jul 26 with 9309 viewsspiderboy

Us down as 4th favourites to hit the bottom 3 this season coming.
Cant see how they got us 4th worst side in the prem after our form in the last 8 games of last season tho.Even taking into consideration the Siggy saga and Lorrentes position.

English press don't particularly care about us and would rather we be replaced by any English side.......it is the EPL you know 😕

Nothing new in that really.
Much too early to say but the way things are not really happening who knows.

We shouldn't all be tarred with the same brush you know!

Theres not much 'English about it at all any more.
All the same though,i just can't see where they are coming from on this one.
Ok,we wont make top 8 but bloody ell,we should be good enough to avoid being 4th faves for the drop.

When you look at the link below, there aren't many teams I think we "deserve" to be considered above.

https://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/relegation

Bournemouth? Possibly, but they're turning into a solid little team. Like us a few years back.

Newcastle? Should be above us with their money, Rafa, ground, etc.

West Brom? Pulis might be a tw@t but has never been relegated.

Palace? Maybe, based on previous years but they do have a potentially really strong squad. They just need a few good additions. New manager could be a Laudrup II or a disaster.

Stoke? It would be unlikely, but not impossible, for them to go down. I expect them to have a bad season though. Their 2017 wasn't good.

West Ham? Mid table written all over them.

Leicester? Lower mid-table written all over them with the potential for a tiny relegation scare again.

All of the rest can be forgotten.

So, I see us being one of the top 5 or 6 favourites based on 3 successive flirtations with the drop and our two top goal providers tipped to leave.

We're always tipped to struggle anyway. I used to hate it but we're FAR better when we're the underdog. Always have been.

Likely to lose out two best players and the most of our goals. Nothing really coming in. No real surprise.

My thoughts too. The squad needs a bit of reinforcing and it could push on, but the board have to back the manager.

Well we haven't lost them yet and if we did who's to say we won't replace

Americans have been relatively good in the market so far. Plus Roque Mesa looks a good acquisition

The sooner llorente and siggy commit or F off the better

I just cant see it.You got to look at our form at the end of the season, even if siggy left and llorente wasn't here we,l surely replace these players with like for like!
Mericans know they played with fire last season, they wont want to risk the dollars again.
Plus Mr Clements has had a long-ish while with the team now,he must ,and bound to be able to compete with Bournemouth Burnley Crystal Palace and the likes.
Mid table at best,or 15th at worst I reckon.

Our form at the end of the season before last was great, too. Doesn't mean much come September.

Id say about right as well. The deadwood from last season needs to go, we have 3-4 wide players who are below par prem [;ayers

That's great if so. But we still need to add to our first team, and quickly

Players like Markovic at 8m are good value buys that we need to capitalise on. Chalobah at 5m was another

I agree .....

In fact Id go as far is if they looked at the depth of our squad, we'd probably nailed on bottom 3

Few weeks to go & things can change with a few decent additions to the squad.

No, it's not. It's the PL.

Perhaps you're confusing the PL with the EFL?

Honestly think we are one of eleven starting the season aiming to stay up. Think all these are pretty much on a even footing, as teams coming up have that impetus. So take your 3 from this list.....

Swansea
Watford
Stoke
Burnley
Southampton
West Brom
Newcastle
Brighton
Huddersfield
Palace
Bournemouth

I agree any 3 from 11 at least 1 will have a terrible run of injuries let's hope it's not us.

And a few of them will sack their manager*, which can add more uncertainty. I can see Hughes going if Stoke get off to a bad start.

* maybe sack 2 managers if the club is really badly run.

At the moment I'm confident Burnley, huddersfield and Watford will be below us.

If one or more of them get off to a flyer and have a good season, we need somebody else to have a mare, probably Palace, but they have a strongish squad or Brighton who I think will be ok.

If Mahrez goes it could be leicester.

Otherwise throw a blanket over us, stoke, Albion, Bournemouth.

If you're not fighting for champions league, you're fighting relegation
