Post-match interviews aren't generally any source of great insight, but it's interesting hearing a few of the boys all pointing out this idea of knowing what they were meant to be doing. To me, it's clearly an indication that BB was totally out of his depth, giving mixed messages and setting up the team in a poor manner.
Although Siggy and Llorente have the goals in them to get us out of this mess, the reality is that an upturn in the performances of Naughton, FF and Cork is what we've really needed. I really hope that has something to do with them knowing what role they're meant to be playing in the side. |  |
