Swansea are in advanced talks with Stoke City star Ryan Shawcross, according to sources that are close to the Stoke City captain.

It is believed that Alan Curtis's side are willing to pay €18 million in order to bring Shawcross to the Liberty Stadium.

This morning, club officials at Stoke City refused to comment on speculation that the Stoke City captain was unhappy at Stoke City
