I think 35 points MIGHT keep a side up this season, just.
In simple terms we need to win 3 out of 6 remaining games to have half a chance - most likely being Newcastle (H), West Ham (H) and Leicester (A).
Scenario B would be nicking a point off either Chelsea, Liverpool OR Man City and maybe 7 points from the remaining games = 34 points.
Anything less than that I think will be curtains. But the beauty of the league is that you have 38 chances to prove yourselves worthy of being in the PL, and so we are where we are for a good reason - 20 defeats... 58 goals against....invariably we ship 2 goals every game. |  |
